Antigua 2006

OK, so I'm going a little out of sequence here....

Back in February the entire family spent a week at our time share villa in Antigua. This was the first trip for our kids and the second trip for Kathy and me. We coordinated our trip with Kathy's brother Mike and his family. They had the villa next to ours which was very convenient for the kids who spent lots of time running back and forth.

Our trip almost didn't happen because of a blinding Noreastern snow storm that eventually dumped 25 inches of snow across the New England region. Thanks to Kathy's quick negotiating skills we managed to change our flight out of town a day early thus avoiding being stranded at our home. We only lost a half day of our vacation instead of three.

Our time in Antigua was quite memorable. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins as well as making new friends with the local kids. They came away with many new experiences and stories. We can't wait to take them back again next year.

Happy birthday, Jim!

I'm sorry I'm not there to celebrate with you this morning, but I'll see you tonight and try to make up for it all week.

Hope the kids have mercy and help you have a great day!

Love, Me
